Credit Risk, Banking Fraud and Bad Loan Management Training Held

Jan 28, 2024: Dang Ghorahi: One day of Credit Risk, Banking Fraud and Bad Loan Management Training has been held in Dang Ghorahi on January 28, 2024, at Rapti Super Lodge. 

The training was organized and sponsored by First Microfinance Development Bank (FMDB) and Aatmanirbhar LBS  jointly to promote skills and knowledge about controlling potential credit risk, banking fraud, and bad loan management. 

The training was aimed at enhancing the capacities of the branch managers and accountants of Aatmanirbhar LBS. Over 40 participants including branch managers, accountants, and the central team comprising of internal auditors, loan officers, and human resources head and Chief Executive Officer Shogat Bir Chaudhary attended the training.

The training was chaired by CEO Shogat Bir Chaudhary, and graced by CEO of FMDB Numanath Poudel as the chief guest, while the branch manager of Kumari Bank Ghorahi Kamala Regmi also was present on the occasion. 

The first session of the training was delivered by Kamal Regmi, while the second session was delivered by Numanath Poudel of FMDB. The training comprised group discussion and question-answer sessions which explored the major challenges of bad loans and possible fraudulent activities that could occur in the management of the credits and dealing with the members of the microfinance services. 

The program was moderated by Nep Bahadur Chaudhary and the concluding remarks were given by CEO Shogat Bir Chaudhary after which the training program came to an end.
